Oracle CRM On Demand Data Import Workshop

The Oracle CRM On Demand Data Import Workshop teaches your key personnel how to ensure that your data imports are successful, both during the implementation of Oracle CRM On Demand and on an ongoing basis.

To ensure successful data importing, administrators need to understand the requirements, sequence, and errors that can occur when importing without the proper preparation. This course leads students through the entire importation process, in detail-preparing and consolidating files, cleansing data, handling duplicate records, comparing data against the application requirements, using the Import Assistant, fixing errors shown in the log files, and re-importing. It also provides tips for cleansing data in a spreadsheet application.

Through a series of labs, students will prepare files and import different record types, gaining the necessary experience to minimize rework when they import data at their own company. The labs reinforce the best practices presented in the course, developing students’ new skills in a safe environment with instructor support.
