Management Consulting Firm Automates Call Management Function with Technology-Leading Hosted CRM Solution
SAN MATEO, Calif. - May 17, 2005 - Oracle Corporation (NASDAQ: SEBL), the leading provider of customer-facing solutions, today announced that USC Consulting Group (USCCG) chose Siebel CRM On Demand over Salesforce.com for its hosted CRM solution. Siebel CRM On Demand has allowed USCCG to manage contacts, leads, and opportunities for its existing sales pipeline.
USCCG designs, develops, and implements solutions to improve business performance and return on invested capital for its Fortune 1000 clientele. Since its establishment in 1968, USCCG has successfully completed more than 1,100 engagements throughout the world for North American-based clients. USCCG is headquartered in Tampa, Florida, and has offices in Chicago and Toronto.
"ACT could no longer manage our volume of contacts, leads, and opportunities," said Gary Brown, Director of Marketing, USCCG. "In an effort to stay competitive, we looked at solutions that might help us get to the next level. We utilized third-party analyst reports and public information to evaluate Siebel CRM On Demand and Salesforce.com. We chose Oracle based on its proven track record, professionalism, and customer references. As a result, we can now customize sales stages to mirror our own consulting process and generate custom reports that give us the ability to better manage our business development process across multiple sales channels."
USCCG has also exploited the rich functionality offered in Siebel CRM On Demand's lead and opportunity tabs, including the ability to add team members and sales teams designated by territory assignment. USCCG now utilizes opportunity management to assign and route leads associated with more than 146,000 records of information. In addition, Siebel CRM On Demand's built-in data warehouse and analytics capabilities give USCCG the ability to view customized reports on its business effectiveness and to continually improve its own ROI.
